Last weekend Jessie Benson, founder FloYoFit came over to Amsterdam and thought these sup and yoga ladies a week of FloYo Fit and got them their certification! FloYo Fit is a sup yoga training and also has some fitness elements in the class which means it's not just 'Om' and does some serieus muscle work. Well done ladies. We have got another group of certified sup yoga teachers. See you all in 2017! We will for sure add these classes on our schedule next to the regular sup & yoga classes at Blijburg and our new spot in Amsterdam!

Sometimes it is super fun to go paddle on a different and new location. We have paddles the Amsterdam canals many times by now and even these canals get the same after a while. SURF LIFE camp owner Harry Glotzbach is a dear friend and BOGA teamrider and lives right at the Amsterdam Forest where he took me for a paddle last month. While paddling the idea popped up to organize a up tour in this beautiful forest in Amsterdam. We had some rain, we had some cloudy, we had a bit of wind... But who cares... It was one of the most impressing paddles ever in Amsterdam. Afterwards we had some drinks and bites (thanks every one for taking some) and Harry and his girl played some songs so it did actually feel like an after paddle summer picknick! Felt like we were in a fairy tales forest trees hanging over our heads and silence filled with rain drops and birds singing. Amsterdam Forest we'll be back!
A couple of weeks ago Ryan Salm from www.ryansalmphotography.com send us an email asking if it was possible to do a fun shoot of paddlers in the Amsterdam canals. Off course! We agreed that a super early morning paddle will be fun as Amsterdam wakes up we will be paddle through the waking up city. The bad thing is that when we meet weather is real bad, rain is pouring and it is cold but... we had a great morning paddle and fun with Ryan and his 'home made' raincoat :) Thanks and we look forward to the pictures we took at the famous Seven Bridges.
Water is finally warming up which means we can start off with some more SUP&YOGA classes. The Wednesday night SUP&YOGA classes will start from the 1st June (20.00-.21.00) and we will also start with the 3 week SUP&YOGA series in June, dates will be anounced soon! the 3 week SUP&YOGA series allow you to go a bit further and is more challenging as the group stays the same for three weeks. More info and sign up via email@example.com
We are super happy with our newest instructor Brittanie. She just moved to Amsterdam with her husband and missed teaching sup yoga. Brittanie used to teach sup yoga at home in Houston and can't wait to step on board and start teaching again. Britannie hasher 200-hour registered yoga and is a registered SUP yoga instructor. In Houston she co-led SUP retreats and helped coordinate the volunteer and assisting program for the first SUP Program in Houston.
Come join one of the sup yoga classes at Wednesday 19.30-20.30 or Sunday mornings 11.30-12.30 we will also start with the three week sup yoga series again in June.
Last week Amsterdam was filled up with all kinds of Urban Sports throughout the city and M&M SUP filled up the waterpart. We organized a fun Friday Night paddle with a couple of friends and paddlers we have known for some time and Sunday we offered free clinics at the venue.
The perfect way to show Amsterdam is a great city for all kinds of urban sports by using what the city offers, for free running, wakeboarding, skateboarding and stand up paddling is also one of the best activities as we have so many canals we can use freely and enjoy and explore the city in a different way. Also interested in exploring the canals on a paddle board? We offer some tours, for a canal tour we do ask some stand up paddle experience or recommend to attend at least two classes., The Amsterdam canals can be very busy with boats and water traffic which means you need to be able to steer, stop, turn and be able to control yourself on the board.
A couple of weeks ago the famous German vlogster Linderella called us as she wanted to try out some sup & yoga really bad for her blog with us. As weather was really bad and chilly that time we had our doubts but she had planned her Amsterdam trip already so, fingers crossed. All our sun dances where heard and the morning Linda came for her class with the crew the clouds opened up and the sun welcomed us!
Linda had a great time, even though she struggled a bit with the cold weather and water... So happy that we could offer her one of our brand new Zhik wetsuits that kept her warm and also thanks to reacher Ambre van de Berg by keeping her warm with some challenging poses.
After a long cold and windy weather we are open again! Yesterday we celebrated this very first day of spring and the opening with a fun sup tour around the beach! Still getting ready for the season and getting our floating sup studio ready. We are so happy to see have seen you all again and share this super fun night on the water together. Also huge than you's to ZHIK for the new wetsuits, Glogglz for the sunglasses and waterproof cases, Island Tribe for the sunscreens, Lifeproof for saving my iPhone and Blijburg for being such a lovely place to be!
Season is coming close after the opening sup tour this Friday the schedule will start and this weekend we offer a couple of classes, sup & yoga we will only offer is weather is good (not too windy and wet). Monday the 4th our Start Up and Follow Up sup courses will start again. So if you want to start supping, follow up or just join every now and then on classes or tours we love to welcome you and share the stoke!
We are super super happy to be back on our old location at beach blijburg and are sure you will love this super fun and beautiful beach just 10 minutes from the city center of Amsterdam! off course we will also offer city sup tours along the season as the canals are a fun experience.

See you soon!
For the fourth time M&M SUP and Hans Schouten organized the HISWA SUP tour for the HOSWA boat show. This year we changed the route and started in the city centre at Hannekes Boom and paddled with about 150 paddlers to the HISWA boat show. The racers started ten minutes before the tour. We paddled in the canals and saw lot's of Amsterdam highlights like the Carré, Red Light district, zeven bridges, Magere Brug. It was a super fun and colorful parade on paddle boards. Hopefully we will kick of the SUP season like this again!
For the fourth time the Hiswa paddle tour will be held in Amsterdam. This year the 19th of March about 200 stand up paddlers will paddle through the Amsterdam canals during the HISWA boatshow. Most of the paddlers will attend the tour and a maximum of 50 people will race thought he canals. M&M SUP is proud to be involved in organizing this first season paddle activity in Amsterdam together with Hans Schouten from sup frenzy and partner in crime concerning all Friday Night and other Amsterdam them paddles since 2011. More info and registration via http://www.hiswarai.nl/suptocht/
If you are interested in attending and need a rental board contact us and we can hook you up with a board to take part in this super fun tour.
For the new sup season we are looking for an extra instructor to help us out with at least a weekly sup start up class and a weekly sup & yoga class. Next to the weekly sup classes we would also love to have some extra sup hands on busy days or when we have big groups coming over... If you are up to some time on the Amsterdam city beach blijburg aan zee and sharing the fun on a paddle board you are the one we need! Would also be great if you could teach an occasional beach yoga class too... We do require some teaching experience. If interested in joining our fun team on beach Blijburg let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org and if any more questions call us or send us an email.

Last summer the VAART TV crew came for a stand up paddle experience and to film their 2016 TV show trailer at M&M Stand Up Paddling in Amsterdam. We had the best weather, some M&M SUP friends came out and joined the crew and host Laura had a great first paddle board experience. Everyone loved the good-looking and stable BOGA YOGA paddle boards and even an occasional handstand was tried... We get in the mood when watching this sunny trailer filled with fun paddle board moments. Come join us this summer for sup lesson, sup tours, sup courses and sup tours.
Just before the Amsterdam Light Festival is finished we paddled it with another group of enthusiastic (winter) paddlers. This time we had much better weather then December when we enden up blown and rain away... Amsterdam by night on a paddle board is a beautiful experience, especially with all these Light art objects along the Amsterdam canals and on the Amsterdam canal bridges. Next time we will probably paddle a Sunday afternoon tour through the center of the Amsterdam city and have a break for some hot choco or teas along the way. Sat announced soon!
Since winters are not winters anymore we at BOGA paddle boards are able to keep stand up paddling all year long. As the water is colder you do have to be aware that you go out on the water and stay safe! Dress properly: wetsuit, neopreen pants and top or wear a drysuit and thick surf boots. Take an iPhone along, in a water proof case or bag and do always wear a leash attached to your paddle board. We also recommend you to have a look at the weather forecast before you go out and check if the winds will stay calm. Now you are set to go and explore winter sunrises, sunsets or go out with some friends for a fun ride if the colder weather frightens you. It;s much more fun then your local gym on a sunny wintersday! Enjoy and share the stoke.
We love to share new routes with all of you and are planning a SUP tour every Friday night next season. We wil paddle Am,sterdam and the area like Nederhorst, Weesp, Muiden, Broek in Waterland, Twiske, Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, Abcoude and would love to paddle in many more new area's. It's super fun to explore new routes with other paddlers. If you would like to show us around in your own neighborhood let us know and perhaps we can set up a sup tour. We can't wait for the season to kick off. Until then do not forget to check out the tours we organize in Amsterdam, such as the Amsterdam Light paddle on the 12th December and the 9th January. You will find all events and tours on our event page or social media.
After a couple of years it's time to change. So we did. Welcome to our new website. As you can see we are still working on it and any tips or comments are welcome. We're not online all the time as we'd rather go out and play..
